Argument For Early Morning Workout

I run on average 20 miles a week. Most of these miles I run very early in the morning, I usually hit the road around 5am. This morning weather was ideal for my 6.2 miles (10k) run: 48 degrees with no more than 70% humidity. Next good thing is that between 5am and 6am there is a very few cars on the streets so air is very clean. I would like to see more people running and exercising early in the morning: when you finish your workout around 6am you feel good and energized and you know that you will have very productive day. For many people idea about waking up around 4:30 sounds terrifying but how you can know how difficult or easy is to do so if you never tried? Trust me, it is easier than you think and it is more beneficial than you can imagine.

You Can even Eat 30 to 60 Minutes before a Workout

How many times has it happened that an hour or 30 minutes before a workout you realize that you are very hungry because you have not eaten anything in the last couple of hours? Some decide to workout hungry, some decide to skip their workout. Both decisions are wrong, even half an hour before a workout you can eat and be able to satisfy both your hunger and workout energy requirements at the same time. ... Read Entire Article

Laziness and Ignorance: Fat People’s Trademarks

You say: “I am doing everything right and I still cannot lose weight.” After that you say: “It must be that something is wrong with my metabolism.” You are a doctor now? Is Laziness a Mental Disorder?

Here are few common scenarios that happen to lazy people:
  • You are a busy person and you do not have time to exercise.  You promised yourself that you will wake up every morning at 5:15 to go to the gym or to run. Your alarm goes off, you turn off the alarm and continue sleeping...Read Entire Article

Dear readers,

Goran Lozo - Fitness Expert | Speaker | Author | Black Belt 5th DegreeDuring my three and a half decades in sport, I have acquired a significant amount of knowledge and experience related to physical fitness training. Not only did I compete professionally all over the world for 18 years, but I also had the opportunity to learn about the scientific aspect of physical fitness from some of the best European sports scientists and professors at the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Sport and Physical Education. Having this kind and experience and knowledge is a great privilege and I am thankful to all my teachers, coaches, teammates, professors, and sponsors who helped me by sharing their knowledge, experience, or financial resources so I can train, learn, travel, and compete.  As I have said, I have learned a lot but if somebody asked me to single out the most important thing that I have learned about sport and success, my answer would be only these two words:

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Take control of your life and set up your fitness goals. Start working hard and be consistent: day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year. Never stop being active, despite the circumstances.
